Our maintenance professions

Every day, 260 dedicated professionals ensure the safety, reliability and quality of the CTS transport network. Working across three depots known as Production Units (Cronenbourg, Elsau and Kibitzenau), they operate in workshops, depots and out in the field to guarantee optimal urban mobility.

They are responsible for the maintenance, repair and monitoring of rolling stock (buses and trams) as well as infrastructure (tracks, overhead lines, equipment and buildings). Their expertise covers a wide range of fields: mechanics, electrotechnics, electronics, industrial computing and more.

Technical and strategic professions

Tramway Electrotechnicians

Carry out maintenance on tram sets to ensure availability, reliability and safety.

Bus Mechanics / Electromechanics

Perform servicing, inspections and repairs on the bus fleet.

High / Low-Voltage Electrotechnicians

Specialists in electrical, signalling and communication systems.

Overhead Line / Workshop Equipment Electrotechnicians

Ensure the proper operation of overhead lines and technical equipment.

Track and Platform Electrotechnicians

Maintain the tramway network’s rail and platform infrastructure.

 

Project Managers

Oversee infrastructure and equipment projects, from design through to commissioning.
