TRAMWAY WORKS SUMMER 2026

From 29 June to 24 July 2026

During 2 consecutive periods between Monday 29 June and Friday 28 August 2026 inclusive, CTS will carry out rail maintenance works on tram lines B/C/F, followed by lines A/B/C/D/F. These works will result in a full suspension of service on the affected sections.

Phase 1 – from Monday 29 June to Friday 24 July 2026 inclusive

Tram services are suspended between:  

Tram B: Musée d’Art Moderne and Broglie  

Tram C: Gare Centrale and Broglie  

Tram F: Faubourg National Gare Centrale and Place d’Islande

Stations not served : 

On tram line B:
Faubourg National, Gare Centrale, Alt Winmärik and Homme de Fer in both directions.

On tram line C:
Gare Centrale, Faubourg de Saverne, Les Halles and Homme de Fer in both directions.

On tram line F:
Alt Winmärik, Homme de Fer, Broglie, République, Gallia, Université, Observatoire and Place d’Islande in both directions.

  • Consider using the existing bus lines to travel during the summer works:
    Bus lines G, 2 (with increased frequency) and line 10.
  • Bus line 2 can be an alternative to reach the Observatoire and Place d’Islande area, which is not served by tram line F.
  • Gare Centrale remains served by tram lines A and D, with increased frequency.
  • Homme de Fer station is located:
    • 6 min walk from Broglie
    • 10 min walk from Faubourg National
    • 17 min walk from Musée d’Art Moderne
  • When walking, please follow the orange signage.

Service resumes on Saturday 25 July*.
*Special arrangements in place for the Braderie on 25 July.

Normal service on Sunday 26 July.

Additional information: on Sunday 28 June and Friday 24 July in the evening

Disruptions are expected, with replacement bus services operating on certain sections of tram lines B and F. These disruptions are due to the preparation and dismantling of construction areas.

Phase 2 – from Monday 27 July to Friday 28 August 2026 inclusive

Tram services are suspended between:

Tram A/D: Ancienne Synagogue Les Halles and Langstross Grand’Rue
Tram B: Alt Winmärik and République
Tram C: Gare Centrale and République
Tram F: Alt Winmärik and Place d’Islande

Stations not served:

On tram lines A/D:
Homme de Fer in both directions.

On tram line B:
Homme de Fer and Broglie in both directions.

On tram line C:
Gare Centrale, Faubourg de Saverne Les Halles, Homme de Fer and Broglie in both directions.

On tram line F:
Homme de Fer, Broglie, République, Gallia, Université, Observatoire and Place d’Islande in both directions.

WARNING

Tram lines B and C (East) are exceptionally operating between Hoenheim Gare and Neuhof Rodolphe Reuss (route change at République).

Tram lines A and F (West) are exceptionally operating between Parc des Sports Zénith and Wolfisheim Henri Rendu (route change between Ancienne Synagogue Les Halles and Alt Winmärik).

Tram lines D and B (West) are exceptionally operating between Poteries and Lingolsheim Tiergaertel (route change between Ancienne Synagogue Les Halles and Alt Winmärik).

Tram traffic is modified at the Place de l’Homme de Fer junction.
Please exercise caution before crossing the tracks.

Given the location of the works, replacement bus services cannot be operated. Please use the existing bus lines for your journeys.
