BADGÉO CARD

An expired Badgéo card can no longer be topped up. However, as long as there are still tickets loaded onto it, you can continue to use them. Once all the tickets have been used, you will need to request a new card to keep travelling on the CTS network.

Yes, you can update your name directly from your CTS customer account, in the "Personal information" section. For the new name to appear on your Badgéo card, you have two options:

  1. Request a duplicate card (cost: €8).

These steps can also be completed, under the same conditions, at the CTS agency located at 9 Place Saint-Pierre-Le-Vieux, Strasbourg.

If you chose home delivery, your Badgéo card will be sent within a maximum of 8 days after you receive the email confirming your order.

For subscriptions, you can top up until the 24th of the current month. After this date, the current month is no longer available and the machine will automatically offer the next month.

The Badgéo Solo Card is a personalised card, ideal for regular or occasional travel.

  • You can load both tickets and subscriptions onto it.
  • Its lifespan is up to 5 years.

Benefits:

  • Personalised card with your name and photo.
  • Single trips loaded on a Badgéo Solo card are cheaper, and you can load 30 at once for an even better fare.
  • Secure: if lost or stolen, a duplicate can be issued for €8, and all remaining content is recovered.

The Badgéo Multi card is a non-personalised card, ideal for occasional travel.

  • You can load single tickets individually, in packs of 2, 10 or 30, at full or reduced fare.
  • Its lifespan is up to 10 years.

Benefits:

  • The card can be shared! You can lend it to someone else, but only one person at a time can travel with the card.
  • Several types of tickets can be loaded at the same time (e.g. 2 singles + one 10-ticket pack).
  • Tickets purchased on the Multi card are cheaper than standard contactless tickets, especially the 30-ticket pack.

The Badgéo Multi card is available:

  • At the CTS agency: 9 Place Saint-Pierre-Le-Vieux, Strasbourg.
  • At CTS partner outlets (list available online or on the CTS app).

You now have two options for accessing your mobility services: the physical Badgéo card or Badgéo on mobile (available on Android only). Here are a few tips to help you choose.

Option

It’s right for you if…

Physical Badgéo card
  • You don’t have an Android phone
  • You’re less comfortable with digital tools
  • You prefer keeping a physical card with you
Badgéo on mobile
  • You’re comfortable with digital services
  • You like managing everything from your smartphone
  • You tend to forget your physical card

Whichever option you choose, you have access to the same services and benefits.

If your Badgéo card (Solo or Multi) contains several packs of tickets, the validator will only show the number of trips remaining in the current pack.

For example, if you have two 10-ticket packs, it will display "9 trips remaining" after your validation, not "19 trips".

Check the full contents of your Badgéo card:

  • At a ticket machine: insert your card and select "Info Support" or "View my profile", depending on the machine.
  • Online: log into (or create) your CTS customer account, then go to My online services > Contents of a Badgéo card.

CONTACTLESS TICKET

If you need a purchase receipt for contactless tickets, please contact us via the contact form and include the serial numbers of the tickets (printed on the back).

You can check the remaining balance on your contactless ticket at any bus/tram ticket machine.

  1. Insert your contactless ticket into the ticket/card reader.
  2. Select "View my profile" or "Info Support", depending on the machine. The contents of the card will be displayed on screen.

Good to know: when travelling on the network, if you validate your contactless ticket a second time immediately after validating it once, the validator will display the number of remaining trips without deducting an extra ticket.
