COMBINING SEVERAL MODES OF TRANSPORT

TER add-on, Citiz, Vélhop

TER/SNCF ADD-ON

First of all, you must apply to open or renew your entitlement to the TER add-on. This entitlement is valid for up to 12 months.

STEP 1: APPLY TO OPEN OR RENEW YOUR ENTITLEMENT

Where can you apply?

  • Online: log into (or create) your CTS customer account, then go to My online services > Travel on TER at no extra cost or sign up for your subscription online.
  • On the CTS app: via the Badgéo on mobile feature (Android only).
  • At the CTS agency: 9 Place Saint-Pierre-Le-Vieux, Strasbourg.
    ⚠️ Please bring your Badgéo card.

The following documents are accepted as proof of address for the TER add-on:

  • Tax notice or non-taxation notice for the previous year (income tax, housing tax or property tax).
  • Property deed or rent receipt dated within the past 6 months.
  • Gas, electricity, water or telephone bill dated within the past 6 months.
  • Home insurance certificate.
  • Housing certificate (for student halls, CROUS, university residences, etc.).
  • Proof of enrolment (email, certificate or school attendance certificate) in a boarding school located within the Eurométropole de Strasbourg

You can submit these documents:

  • online, via your CTS customer account (create one if needed).
  • or in person, at the CTS agency (remember to bring your Badgéo card).

You may provide proof of address in your own name, together with a document proving your relationship (for example, a family record book or birth certificate). This confirms that your child lives at the same address as you.

You have two options:

  • Onto a physical Badgéo card.
    • Via the CTS app: go to Purchase > On my Badgéo card.
    • Or at a self-service terminal at the CTS agency, 9 Place Saint-Pierre-Le-Vieux.


⚠️ Don’t forget this step: without loading the TER add-on, it will not appear on your Badgéo card and SNCF inspectors will not be able to see it.

  • On Badgéo on mobile (Android only).

Activation of the TER add-on on the Badgéo on mobile feature of the CTS app is automatic, provided your entitlement has been approved and you hold a valid CTS subscription.

Your TER add-on gives you access to the following 13 stations:

•    Strasbourg
•    Krimmeri-Meinau
•    Strasbourg-Roethig
•    Bischheim
•    Lingolsheim
•    Hoenheim
•    Graffenstaden
•    Mundolsheim
•    Entzheim
•    Geispolsheim
•    Vendenheim
•    Fegersheim-Lipsheim
•    La Wantzenau.

If you hold a free subscription for 4-17 year-olds, and provided your entitlement has been approved, your TER add-on is valid for up to 12 months. After this period, you must renew your entitlement.


To check the validity period of your TER add-on entitlement, go to:
Online: log into (or create) your CTS customer account: My Online Services > Track my fare benefits.
On the CTS App: Purchases > On my Badgéo card > Badgéo on mobile. Entitlements are valid for a maximum of 12 months. Remember to renew them at the end of this period.


For the free subscription for 4-17 year olds, the TER add-on remains valid for the entire duration of the profile. However, it must be reloaded onto the Badgéo card for July and August using the CTS app or the self-service terminal at the CTS agency.

If your TER add-on is loaded on your physical Badgéo card:
Simply show your card to the SNCF inspector, who will scan it directly.


If your TER add-on is on the CTS app (Badgéo on mobile):
Open the app > Purchases > On my phone > Badgéo on mobile > Show your TER add-on.
A barcode will appear on your screen. Present this barcode to the SNCF inspector.

FLUO GRAND EST

Yes. Travellers holding a CTS ticket or subscription may use Fluo Grand Est 67 bus routes within the Eurométropole de Strasbourg at no extra cost.


Present your Badgéo card to the validator.


For journeys beyond the Eurométropole de Strasbourg, CTS and Fluo Grand Est offer combined tickets and subscriptions to make travel between the two networks easier.

PASS MOBILITÉ

The Pass Mobilité is designed for people who mainly use bus, tram and bike, but also want access to a car when needed.


To give you full flexibility, CTS, Strasbourg Mobilités (Vélhop) and Citiz have created the Pass Mobilité.

STEP 2 - Submit your application:

  • directly at the CTS agency, 9 place Saint-Pierre-Le-Vieux 67000 Strasbourg.
  • or by post to CTS - DRCDC Pôle commercial, 14 rue de la Gare-aux-Marchandises - CS 15002 - 67035 STRASBOURG CEDEX

 

⚠️ Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

 

You will be contacted once your application has been received.

You can book a Citiz car easily, 24/7, via the Citiz mobile app, the Citiz website, or by calling 0033 3 88 23 73 47. Last-minute bookings are also possible!

 

At the car-sharing station, open the vehicle with your Pass Mobilité, then enter your personal code to retrieve the key.

In case of problems with use :

File a police report at the nearest police station, then send a copy of the report to the Vélhop agency at Strasbourg Station.

The Pass Mobilité can only be cancelled before its expiry in exceptional circumstances:

  • Moving outside the Eurométropole de Strasbourg.
  • Redundancy or unemployment.
  • Permanent incapacity.
  • Temporary incapacity lasting more than 3 months.
  • Death of the subscriber or payer.
  • Price increase during the subscription period.

For CTS: if you already hold a CTS subscription, you must cancel your current subscription. Cancellation is not automatic: : you must complete 

 

For Vélhop: the same person cannot rent two bikes simultaneously. Subscribing to the Pass Mobilité automatically cancels your existing Vélhop subscription. However, no compensation or refund will be given.

 

For Citiz: once your Pass Mobilité application has been received, Citiz updates your account so you benefit from the rate corresponding to the chosen formula.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • For occasional travellers:
    Buy your ticket directly in the CTS app using the "Immediate departure" feature. All tickets purchased via this feature allow you to travel both on TER trains within the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and on the CTS network.

Don’t have the CTS app? No problem! The ALSA + 24H EMS ticket, available from bus/tram ticket machines, also gives you access to both the CTS and TER networks within the Eurométropole de Strasbourg. 

Important: These are Immediate-departure tickets, valid from the time and date of purchase. Buy now, travel now!


THE SIMPLICITÉS OFFER

Simplicités cards allow you to combine CTS + TER travel beyond the Eurométropole de Strasbourg. Please contact SNCF for further information. 

THE ALSA+ OFFER

ALSA+ tickets allow you to combine CTS and TER Alsace networks. They can be purchased directly from bus/tram ticket machines or via SNCF.
All fares are available on our dedicated page, and on the TER Grand Est website. 

 

THE EUROPASS OFFER

Some options also allow travel by train beyond the German border, in the Kehl–Offenburg area (TGO network), while combining your journey with the CTS network. These solutions are grouped under EUROPASS tickets. All fares are available on our Europass monthly page. 

Some CTS subscribers may benefit from free access to the Entzheim station car park, subject to conditions.

Holders of a CTS subscription loaded onto a Badgéo pass, who live in one of the municipalities listed below, are entitled to free parking for up to 48 hours (after this period, parking becomes chargeable):

 

Achenheim, Breuschwickersheim, Entzheim, Ernolsheim-sur-Bruche, Geispolsheim, Hangenbieten, Holtzheim, Illkirch-Graffenstaden, Kolbsheim, Krautergersheim, Kuttolsheim, Lingolsheim, Lipsheim, Oberschaeffolsheim, Osthoffen, Valff, Zellwiller.

 

Access conditions:
Before first use, registration is mandatory at the "Parking"counter at the terminal.

You must present:

  • Your Badgéo pass loaded with a valid subscription.
  • Proof of address confirming residence in one of the eligible municipalities.

Once registered, simply present your Badgéo pass at the entry and exit barriers to access the car park.
