The Eurométropole de Strasbourg offers free public transport for young people, making it easier for them to get around every day.

Who is eligible?

Young people living in the Eurométropole de Strasbourg

Children and teenagers aged 4 to 17 inclusive who live in one of the 33 municipalities of the Eurométropole de Strasbourg.

Young people living in the municipality of Kehl (Germany)

Young residents of Kehl are also eligible for free travel on the CTS network.

Boarding school pupils in the Eurométropole de Strasbourg

Boarding pupils enrolled in a school within the EMS, even if their family home is located elsewhere.

How do I apply for the free CTS subscription?

Step 1 - Prepare your documents

  • Proof of address (or boarding school certificate).
  • The child’s identity document.
  • A recent ID photo.

Hop on the train with the TER Token!

Residents of the Eurométropole de Strasbourg may use TER services within the EMS area (13 stations, except the Strasbourg-Kehl line) at no extra cost, provided they have loaded the TER Token onto their Badgéo card or Badgéo on mobile.

Remember to validate your ticket even if it is free!

Every transport ticket (including a €0 subscription) must be validated each time you board a vehicle, including when transferring.

  • On buses, validation takes place inside the vehicle.
  • On trams and buses on lines G and H, validation takes place on the platform validator before boarding.
